Privacy Policy

Dharma Sky is an educational astrology web application operated as a project of Dharma Open School. This policy explains what the current release processes, why it processes it, and the choices available to you.

Guest mode and birth details

You can use Dharma Sky without an account. Chart calculations happen in your browser. Birth date, birth time, birthplace coordinates, chart settings, generated readings, locked weekly forecasts, and outcome reviews remain on the device unless you export them yourself. If you choose “Remember this chart on this device,” the profile is stored in that browser's local storage. Clearing local data removes it from that browser.

Google and Facebook sign-in

If you sign in, the selected provider and our authentication processor, Supabase, process the provider account identifier and the profile fields returned by the provider, which may include your name, email address, and profile image. Dharma Sky uses this information to create and maintain your account session. The current release does not upload your birth details or forecast-review ledger merely because you signed in.

Google's and Facebook's own privacy terms govern information they process. You can also use the product without either provider.

Infrastructure, security, and retention

Authentication records are hosted in the Mumbai region of our authentication service. Access-controlled database tables use row-level security so authenticated records are scoped to their owner. OAuth provider secrets are held in provider configuration and are not shipped in the website source. Authentication records are retained while the account is active or as reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Cookies and tracking

Dharma Sky uses browser storage and authentication-session storage needed for product operation. The current release does not use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or run behavioural advertising.

Your choices

• Use guest mode and do not sign in.
• Choose whether to remember a chart on the current device.
• Clear local chart data from the “My data” control.
• Sign out from the account dialog.
• Request deletion using our account and data deletion instructions.

Children

Dharma Sky is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to collect their account data. A parent or guardian who believes a child has created an account can contact us for deletion.
